Pataka was featured in the Scotsman Magazine and the Edinburgh Evening News when we started giving out lessons in how to speak Bengali to our customers!

We were also featured in the Edinburgh Evening News in April 2007 in relation to Bengali New Year.

Ian Rankin is a regular customer of Pataka and the restaurant was featured in three of his novels - Set In Darkness, Standing In Another Man's Grave and Rather Be The Devil.
